Léo Juvier-Hendrickx (General Director of EU-Cuba Network for Democracy (EUCND) is a founding signatory of the Carta de Madrid, the initiative that led to the creation of the Foro de Madrid as an international platform for cooperation and the defense of democracy across the Iberosphere. (Madrid, 26 October 2020)
INTERNATIONAL DEMOCRACY
Since 2022, the EU-Cuba Network has been represented within the international democracy community, contributing to global dialogues on participation and citizens’ rights.
Through its engagement with platforms such as the Global Forum on Direct Democracy in Lucerne, it strengthens collaboration among actors committed to direct democracy.
TRANSPARENCIA ELECTORAL
January 19, 2023 — Transparencia Electoral and EU-Cuba Network for Democracy finalized a collaboration agreement that provides for the implementation of cooperation and coordination programs.
The agreement was signed by Jesús Delgado, Director of Institutional Development at Transparencia Electoral, and Léo Juvier-Hendrickx, Charge of EU Affairs
